Your clock will be inspected and tested before delivery. Once we have carried out our checks, we will package your clock safely and securely. Your clock will then be handed over to the courier and it will then be delivered.
We have good working relationships with Premium courier services such as DHL and Parcelforce. All clocks are expertly packaged and handled with care.
Order Confirmation Email
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase.
As soon as we receive your order we automatically confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate delivery. If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will void the pre-authorisation and reach out to you via e-mail.
We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address your provide when checking out.
If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at email@example.com.
If your item(s) are available for immediate delivery (within 3 business days) we will process the charges and submit the order for delivery.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.
If you item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Our policy lasts 30 Days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Returning your clock
To return your clock, you should mail your product to the Return Address we give you. To get the Return Address, please contact us.
You will be responsible for paying for your own delivery costs for returning your item. Delivery costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return delivery will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are delivering an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

All clocks are tested and set up before they are delivered. You do not need to assemble them.
All clocks are delivered with clear instructions - in English - on how to safely install the clock. It is important to read the instructions and follow them.
Please DO NOT unpack, hang the clock and then pick up the instructions!

All mechanical clocks run on weights or are key wound. They do not require any batteries and winding keys are supplied with the clock.
One day mechanical clocks will require the mechanism to be wound once a day. You can wind more frequently, this will be a personal choice, but failure to wind once a day will result in the clock stopping.
Eight day mechanical clocks will require the mechanism to be wound once a week only.
Quartz and radio controlled clocks are driven by batteries. Batteries are supplied with the clock.
All clocks sold on homeclocks.co.uk have a one-year warranty minimum unless otherwise stated. When you receive your clock, we recommend that you retain all packaging and instructions.
In the unlikely event that you should have to return the clock, this will minimise the likelihood of any damage being caused in transit.
How to maintain your clock ?
Mechanical clocks will not require any maintenance or repairs for at least 10 years.
Quartz clocks will require change of batteries.
However, it should be ensured the clock is kept where minimal dust can get into the mechanism. Dust will impact on the lubrication and this can lead to damage many years down the line.
If you require to do any works in the vicinity, then move the clock to a more suitable location or cover the clock.
An effective tool in removing dust are cans of compressed air. This will be very effective in removing the dust from hard to reach areas. Please do not blow too hard inside the case or to close to the bellows.
When positioning the clock, it is important that the weights are allowed to run freely. Some clocks will be quite heavy and it should be ensured that they are secured to the wall firmly.
